Job Description:
Join our agile development team as a QA Analyst focused on functional testing. You will be integral to our sprint cycles, ensuring that new features meet specified requirements and that existing functionality remains intact. This role offers deep exposure to the software development process and quality best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional, integration, smoke, and regression test suites for web and/or mobile applications.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Document test results and defects with clear steps to reproduce in Jira.
- Write basic SQL queries to validate data integrity in the backend database.
- Collaborate with developers in a shared responsibility model for quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification.
- A team-player attitude with strong critical thinking skills.
