Job Description:
As a Data Science Associate, you will support our data science team in building, testing, and deploying predictive models and analytical solutions. You will work on real-world data to solve business problems, gaining hands-on experience in the full data science pipeline under the mentorship of experienced data scientists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing using Python (Pandas/NumPy) and SQL.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate insights through statistical summaries and visualizations.
- Support the development, training, and validation of basic machine learning models.
- Create clear documentation of analysis steps, model assumptions, and results.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in data science and machine learning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with key data science libraries.
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms (linear regression, classification, clustering).
- Curiosity, intellectual rigor, and a passion for deriving insights from data.
