Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Analyst to ensure the quality of our software applications. You will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and verifying fixes. This role is an excellent starting point for building a career in software quality assurance and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review functional specifications and create detailed, comprehensive manual test cases.
- Execute test cases (functional, regression, UI) and document results meticulously.
- Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira from discovery to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand features and reproduce issues.
- Contribute to process improvement by providing feedback on test coverage and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent diploma/certification).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
